Collect: Random OR 24-hour urine in a plastic container - 4 ml .
Refrigerate during collection.Note: This test is approved for NY . Performing Lab ARUP Laboratory
Specimen Preparation:Transfer an aliquot from a well-mixed random or 24-hour collection to a Standard Transport Tube and freeze immediately.
Record total volume and collection time interval on transport tube and test request form.
Storage/Transport Temperature: CRITICAL FROZEN.
Separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.
Unacceptable Conditions:Room temperature specimens.
Stability: Ambient: Unacceptable; Refrigerated: 24 hours; Frozen: 6 month
